This Special Issue focuses on policing in times of uncertainty. The papers resulted from the UACES Policing and European Studies conference that was held at Abertay University in the United Kingdom in May of 2015. This conference brought together an international and interdisciplinary audience of academics and practitioners to discuss issues pertinent to policing the European Union in late modernity.
