This chapter deals with the gap between policing and technology. Technological developments in society have leveraged the power of criminals and criminal organizations, more than the power of the police. This chapter analyses this gap and advises to improve the role of technology in police work. With some adjustments, the police can take more advantage of technology. This will enable the police to better deal with the problem of crime.
